Completed / liveERA network baseline
The live ERA network and ETKN, validator/sentry/RPC infrastructure, block production, GRANDPA finality, transfers, staking and deployed AI Prediction functionality are live. Phase 6A was stabilized historically at specVersion 8; Phase 6B was a later production milestone at historical specVersion 9. The current runtime is specVersion 12.
Current development - not liveUpgrade V13
V13 targets monetary integrity and an exact retained-supply correction, a planned post-upgrade retained supply of exactly 100,000,000 ETKN, a planned lifetime hard cap of 1,000,000,000 ETKN, and a maximum future issuance capacity of 900,000,000 ETKN after correction. Burns would not restore issuance allowance, and one shared allowance must govern all future minting paths.
Custody, vesting and allocation corrections require exact migration, state-proof, invariant, Wasm, metadata and reproducibility gates before any activation. The work is not committed, approved, scheduled or live.
Future - not liveUpgrade V14
Planned areas include asset and application foundations, NFT and digital-right primitives, DeFi and DApp foundations, evaluated ERC-20/interoperability paths, application-facing APIs and events, ERA World Engine economic and ownership integration, and broader developer and validator participation. V14 remains subject to design, implementation, testnet, audit, governance and separate production activation.
Future - controlled pilot, not liveERA Blockchain V15 - ERA Compute Network Foundation and Controlled GPU Digital-Twin Settlement
Validators would secure ERA Blockchain while separate GPU workers perform reconstruction, Gaussian splatting, mesh generation, rendering, optimisation and related AI/3D work off-chain. Separate verifiers would assess outputs; the chain would coordinate bounded job records, commitments, registration, bonds, deadlines, acceptance, disputes and ETKN settlement.
Private customer media and derived assets would remain encrypted and off-chain. ETKN compute payments would transfer existing tokens, not create issuance. GPU work must not execute inside consensus or delay validators. Permissionless participation is a later phase after controlled testnet evidence, privacy review, security testing and economic validation.
Validator expansion - planned
Operators first run synchronized non-authority nodes and use unique validator/session keys. Eligibility is planned around 10,000 ETKN, including 5,000 ETKN operator contribution plus 5,000 ETKN from an approved onboarding allocation, subject to implementation and governance. Eligibility does not guarantee an active seat. Expansion is planned gradually from 4 to 7 to 10 validators; existing authority keys will never be distributed.
ERA World Engine programme
The public information sites are live. The application platform, Twin Worlds pilot, app-first Android/iOS/Windows clients, Berlin-Mitte business and hotel work, connected worlds, agents, services and commerce remain in development or future. V15 is a future blockchain utility programme supporting digital-twin creation and delivery.
