Help and current status

ERA Frequently Asked Questions

ERA's accepted nine-host fleet runs runtime specVersion 16. NFT collection 1 and items 1–3 have finalized metadata and ownership; a restricted 1 ETKN sale and a 0.1 ETKN priced swap were verified. Final V14 programme acceptance still requires one legitimate SecurityBudget reward payment, penalty-policy activation and independent qualification.

What are ERA and ETKN?

ERA is the live blockchain network; ETKN is its native token for balances, fees and staking. ERA-MAINNET is the current RPC chain-display name, not a second token.

Where do I get the Windows or Android wallet?

Use the official ERA downloads page. Windows build4 is a complete x64 ZIP; Android build4 is a signed universal prerelease APK. iOS and Linux source targets are not device-accepted releases.

How do I verify and update safely?

Compare the downloaded file's SHA-256 with SHA256SUMS on this site. On Android, install the compatible build4 update over the existing app without uninstalling or clearing data. On Windows, preserve the existing account data and use the complete distribution, not an isolated executable.

Will an update keep my accounts?

Owner-performed Android build4 checks passed, and the owner reports that accounts remained after installing the Play test build. Play required uninstalling the website APK first, so an in-place update is not proven. Earlier Windows owner checks passed within their tested scope. Back up recovery material privately before changing installations; never send it to support.

What do the receiving QR code and scanner do?

The QR displays the selected account's public receiving address and changes with account selection. The scanner follows device permissions, can be cancelled and rejects invalid input. It must never display or transmit secret material.

Which network address should my wallet use?

Use wss://eraprojects.org/ for wallet RPC, then verify ERA genesis and runtime specVersion 16. A node's peer/bootnode connection is separate from wallet WSS.

Are transactions free?

Transactions may charge native ETKN fees. Review the exact call, recipient, amount, fee and finality before signing; an uncertain pending status is not permission to submit twice.

Can I stake or nominate?

The deployed runtime contains staking and nominations. Nominated stake does not satisfy a validator's 10,000 ETKN own-bond requirement. Review current chain state, eligibility, risk and fees before any transaction; rewards are not guaranteed.

How can I apply to validate?

Read Become a Validator and email info@eraprojects.io before acquiring stake. External admission still needs reviewed qualification and election; bonding alone does not guarantee selection.

How do reward inspection and claims work?

The wallet can inspect finalized SecurityBudget eligibility read-only. A displayed eligible result is not a paid reward. The first legitimate production payment remains unverified; any claim requires current finalized inputs, fee review and explicit signing.

Why might an NFT collection be missing?

Collection 1 and items 1–3 now exist on ERA-MAINNET with verified metadata. A different collection ID may be absent because it was never created. Check the ERA network and exact ID; a missing collection alone does not prove a wallet reader defect.

Are AMM and AI prediction tokenization active?

No. AMM and AI predictive tokenization remain inactive and deferred. Additional private/sentry metadata storage is outside V14; the dedicated public ERA Metadata Service is the current route.

How do I contact support or report a security issue?

Use the official support page or email info@eraprojects.io. Report vulnerabilities privately using the repository security route or request a secure channel. Never send passwords, recovery phrases, private keys or server credentials.
