Polkadot.js Apps can connect directly to ERA today. Use it as the immediate fallback before ERA Wallet, Nova Wallet, SubWallet, Talisman, Google Play, Apple App Store, and Microsoft Store approval paths are completed.
- Open the ERA Polkadot.js Accounts page using the button below.
- Select Accounts, then choose Add account.
- Save your mnemonic recovery phrase offline. Never share it with anyone.
- Give the account a name, set a strong password, and create the account.
- Copy your ERA address and use it for receiving ETKN or participating in the ERA ecosystem.
Before installing
Install wallets only from official sources
Use official app stores, official wallet websites, or official browser-extension stores. Do not install wallet files sent by direct message, Telegram DM, or unknown download pages.
App stores

- Android: Google Play only, unless the wallet team officially provides another channel.
- Check the publisher name before installing.
Browser extensions
- Chrome/Brave/Edge: use the official Chrome Web Store or wallet website links.

- Pin the extension after installation so you know which wallet you are opening.
Security rule
- Your recovery phrase controls your funds.
- ERA support will never ask for your phrase or password.
- Back up your phrase offline before funding the account.
Nova Wallet
Step-by-step: add ERA to Nova Wallet mobile
Nova Wallet is a mobile-first Polkadot ecosystem wallet for iOS and Android. Use this route for phone-based access where Nova allows manual Substrate network setup.
Install Nova Wallet
- Open the official Nova Wallet website: novawallet.io.
- Use the official download buttons for Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Alternatively, install directly from the official listings: iOS App Store or Google Play.
- Open Nova Wallet and create a new wallet or import an existing Substrate/Polkadot account.
- Back up the recovery phrase offline before adding funds.
Add ERA manually
- Open Nova Wallet.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Networks or Network Management.
- Tap Add network or switch to the Added tab and tap Add network manually.
- Choose Substrate as the network type.
- Enter the ERA provider URL:

- If Nova asks for metadata, enter ERA, token ETKN, decimals 18, and SS58 42.
- Tap Add network, then select ERA in the network list.
- Send only a small test amount first and confirm the balance appears correctly.
Nova Wallet is primarily mobile. If you need a browser extension, use SubWallet, Talisman, or Polkadot.js Apps.
SubWallet
Step-by-step: add ERA to SubWallet mobile or browser extension
SubWallet supports mobile apps and browser extensions. The extension documentation includes an import-custom-network flow for Polkadot/Substrate and EVM networks.
Install SubWallet
- Open the official SubWallet download page: subwallet.app/download.
- For mobile, use the official iOS App Store or Google Play listing.
- For browser, use the official extension links from SubWallet, or install from the Chrome Web Store for Chrome, Brave, or Edge.
- Open the app or extension and create a new wallet or import an existing account.
- Securely back up the recovery phrase offline.
Import ERA
- Open SubWallet.
- Go to Settings. In the browser extension, click the icon at the top left to reach Settings.
- Select Manage networks.
- Click the + button to import a custom network.
- Enter the provider URL:
wss://eraprojects.org/.
- Wait for SubWallet to detect the network name, token symbol, and network type where supported.
- If manual fields are required, enter ERA, token ETKN, decimals 18, and Substrate/Polkadot network type.
- Click Save.
- Search for ERA in Manage networks and enable/select it.
For Substrate networks, use the WSS provider URL format. ERA provider URL is wss://eraprojects.org/.
Talisman
Step-by-step: add ERA to Talisman browser extension
Talisman is commonly used as a browser-extension wallet for the Polkadot ecosystem. Use the custom network flow when ERA is not yet listed natively.
Install Talisman
- Open the official Talisman website: talisman.xyz.
- Click Download Wallet and choose your browser.
- For Chrome, Brave, or Edge, install from the Chrome Web Store.
- For Firefox, install from Mozilla Add-ons.
- After installation, pin the Talisman extension to your browser toolbar.
- Create a new wallet or import an existing account, then back up your recovery phrase offline.
Add ERA as a custom network
- Open the Talisman extension popup.
- Click the gear icon for settings.
- Select All Settings.
- Open Networks and Tokens.
- Choose Manage networks.
- Click Add network.
- Select Polkadot / Substrate as the platform.
- Enter the ERA network details: provider URL
wss://eraprojects.org/, name ERA, token ETKN, decimals 18, and SS58 42 if requested.
- Click Save. The save button becomes available after required fields are complete.
- Select ERA before receiving or sending ETKN.
If Talisman mobile availability or custom-network behavior differs by region or version, use the official Talisman download page or Polkadot.js Apps as the fallback.
After setup
Verify before using funds
- Confirm the active network is ERA.
- Confirm the endpoint is

- Confirm the token symbol shows as ETKN with 18 decimals.
- Send a tiny test transfer first.
